Thorn (Offensive Defense):

Begins in defensive stance (Right Stance). When an opponent lunges forward with any overhead attack; Shuffle the front foot forward and to the right and pull your sword back into a thrusting position at the same time. Then shuffle the back foot and over 25 degrees thrusting out at the same time. You should end up in defensive stance two feet to your left and forward under the opponent's guard, with your sword thrust into their heart.

Comments: this can also be used as a straight offensive move, by making the same motions just as they raise their sword and attempt an attack.
