I am Risa, Green Braid and one-handed swordfighter. I have been training intermittently since 2001, in between school, moving, work, depression, fear, and intense sensitivity to pain. I am still surprised at times that I've done as much as I have in the Circle, despite all the reasons I had to quit, and I wear a copper link from the head kaiden's copper chain with pride, as a mark of honor. I am proof that no matter how cowardly, weak, or sensitive you think you are, you can still be a fighter, and that no matter how busy you become, you can still fit in time for the sword. I am currently working on my requirements for White Rope, and hope to test sometime in the fall. "fail until you succeed"
